If he has the stuff to play at the next level, or realistically thinks he does based on the opinion of the "right" people (read - not MoC's advisors), he should take off to the best possible "playing" situation, take a year to really understand the system there and go balls out the following season. Plenty of qbs have gotten solid looks in the pros based on one year starting. Not many get the shot with no starting experience, even if they rode the bench for tOSU.
