I guess his jaw wasn't broken after all....
The report said Barksdale told police he was punched while attempting to break up an altercation between some friends. Police said Barksdale initially declined to say who punched him, but after a trip to the Baton Rouge General Hospital emergency room he told police the aggressor was Giddens, who was arrested the next day. Giddens was released Tuesday at 4 p.m. on bail.
Bonnette said despite an earlier report that Barksdale's jaw was broken, it was not.
"He's fine," Bonnette said.
