To the first part, I'm certainly not advising anyone to switch to any company. I was just advising Thump that directv is full of sh!t.
Switch providers if they meet your needs and pricing right now, not some bs future promises that can never be kept.

To the second part, I have worked for Verizon, ATT, and Comcast and have always known what the competitors offer in terms of technology, equipment, and programming. Not that you care, , but right now I work for a company that casts platinum, gold, and silver for jewelers. So, that OSU education has come in pretty handy.
