That is a pretty fair analysis of possible future outcomes. I think the post in the prior linked thread that is most negative is the one by Trig3 who bemoans PSU's ability to make the cut of 3 with a topmost in-state prospect.

Though those with a keener sense of geography understand that Washington PA is really a panhandle bordering town/city that has little direct allegiance to Pittsburgh, let alone State College.
