i agree that "no way no how" should calathes be ranked ahead of koufos. that is an absolute joke. i think the same can be claimed when contrasting calathes to almost any other player in the top 25.

Buckguy, I evidently rate court awareness and handles ahead of just about everything else when it comes to point guards, and Calathes has those in spades as you say (of his court awareness, at least). And although his shot isn't pure, it beats the heck out of somebody like Doug Gottlieb, who despite the fact he couldn't hit the ocean from the beach was a terrific collegiate point. No way Diebler is in Calathes's category IMO; I believe Calathes is a top-5 recruit.
Of course, I could be wrong. In any event, I'm overjoyed with the Buckeye freshman class of '07.
