i understand your points, 14, but this commitment (if there is or will be one) would mean much more than no commitment. i'm sure that matta would understand that he must continue with the full court press on thomas. fortunately, with '08 already decided (except pryor, perhaps), with '09 being a small class if any, and with '10 already started; he has plenty of time to give thomas a lot of attention.

as far as gordon/iu/ui, that was more about the coaching change at iu than anything else.
