The former Butler player and coach has an oral commitment from Fort Wayne Luers star DeShaun Thomas, ranked No. 1 in the nation in the Class of 2010 by several scouting services. Matta also has commitments from Columbus, Ohio's Jared Sullinger, younger brother of former Buckeye J.J. Sullinger, and Florida's Brandon Knight.
