Ohio State turning a weakness into a strength

Let's say that you're Jim Tressel, head coach of the
Ohio State Buckeyes . Your favored club gets absolutely waxed by the
Florida Gators in the 2007 BCS National Championship game, 41-14. Further, your Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, Troy Smith, only completes 4-of-14 passes for 35 yards.
Smith, a guy who had stood in there and looked down the throat of great college defenses successfully in the past, was unable to even buy a minute. Though the pressure came from everywhere, it was particularly obvious that the Buckeyes' offensive tackles were outclassed in a big way in terms of athleticism.
Some coaches would do little to nothing about that. After all, getting to the national championship is a great thing by itself. But not Tressel. You see, he immediately saw what needed to be done.
