College's hot on Baldwin's trail

There are some aspects of college recruiting that are a given when you are considered among the top prospects in the nation. Life becomes a series of phone calls and, for now, text messaging from college coaches, request for television and print interviews, not to mention the internet junkies.

Of course there is school and friends and family to attend to, as well as the sport that will provide a free college education.

Such is life when you are a 6-foot-6 wide receiver with 4.4 speed and play at one of the top high school football programs in tradition-rich western Pennsylvania. But if it sounds like too much for a 17-year old to handle, think again

Baldwin's list of scholarship offers is awfully impressive. Two weeks ago, Baldwin had trimmed his list of schools down to six - Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida, Miami, Southern California and Pitt. But on Thursday, Baldwin said three more schools are back in the race, Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia Tech.

Baldwin says that right now, no school has an advantage over another. In fact, Baldwin isn't afraid to admit that he is still getting comfortable with the fact that some of the grandest names in college football want him to be a part of their program.
