I'm not sure, but won't Ryan have to sit a year after he transfers. That will leave him with only two seasons to play, for a new team, a new coach, getting acclimated to a new school, and with his injury history he is in no way guaranteed to play (or for that matter, to get any scholarship offers). From his dad's two posts, it sounds like this was largely an emotional decision, which I can understand, but is it a good one? There is something to be said for five guaranteed free years of college at a school like Ohio State, especially when weighed against his other options. His dream may never be realized in the way he'd envisioned when he decided to come here, but does that justify possibly making another mistake. Now, I'm not making this point as a selfish fan wanting him to stay, but as a concerned fan who doesn't want to see one of our own do something he'll regret. Thoughts?
