Venezuelan visits
Big man Greg Echenique, a native of Venezuela and the son of a former Venezuelan professional player, enjoyed an unofficial visit to UK earlier this year. He attends St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, N.J.
Echenique, a 6-8, 270-pound junior-to-be, does not expect to make a choice for another year.
He's considering Rutgers, Villanova, Syracuse, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Miami and Florida as well as UK.
