Trinity's next superstar
Trinity has only had three players sign Division I scholarships in seven years under coach Bob Beatty but you can mark down another in a few years.
Sophomore linebacker Jordan Whiting showed in the 4-A state final against Ryle that he's a budding superstar for the Rocks. The 6-foot-, 210-pound linebacker has been all over the field.
He's a well-built, speedy linebacker who has a nose for the ball. Oh, and he's a hitter.

4) Kentucky is already among the top choices for 2009 linebacker prospect Jordan Whiting of Trinity HS in Louisville. Whiting is a rare specimen, standing at 6-foot-0 and 220 pounds as a high school junior-to-be. He runs well and has got great hips to play the linebacker spot. UK offered him at there summer camp and doesn't want him to bulk up too much. I'm excited to see how big he gets.
