Even though defensive tackle Doug Worthington plays in the trenches, he has kept his eyes open for players who have been making strides the first four days of camp.
"On the D-line. I would have to say Nader Abdallah, and Dexter Larimore is coming along very, very well. We have a freshman linebacker, (Brian) Rolle from Florida, a little guy, No. 36. He has been outstanding. And (cornerback) Donald Washington, it seems like he matured a lot from last year.
"And on offense, Bryant Browning is blocking me and blocking sensational so far."
Browning is listed as the backup to senior right tackle Kirk Barton, but he is being groomed as a possible sixth man for the line.
