Big season by Boilers won't shock writer
Purdue is the sleeper of the 2007 Big Ten football season, writes Dennis Dodd of SportsLine.com in his college preview.
Picking the Boilermakers to finish fifth behind Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio State and Penn State, Dodd writes, "The Boilers will move the ball, as always. With 20 starters back and Notre Dame and Ohio State at home, Purdue could be the surprise of the Big Ten."
Dodd picks Indiana to finish eighth and Minnesota to finish last under former Central Catholic coach Tim Brewster.
"If decibels were victory, loud-talking Tim Brewster would be in the Rose Bowl right now," Dodd writes.
