Stronger Wells expected to shoulder heavy load

Before Ohio State's first-string running back pulls on his jersey and tries to carry the load for the Buckeyes this season, he wants everyone to refer to him by his preferred first name.

"It's Beanie," Chris "Beanie" Wells said.

But "C. Wells" was stenciled on the back of his jersey last season.

"I would prefer they change it to B. Wells," he said with a laugh.

"My passion for the game," Wells said. "My passion to be the best I can be at the Ohio State University."

"Tell them not to worry," Jim Brown said.
