I look at it like this. Shayne Hale ia a great football player. However, if Hale isn't a Buckeye in the end it just wasn't meant to be. Yet, we still have Nathan Williams who seems to be a very similar player. Williams's dream was to be a Buckeye, he a little bigger at 6'5" 245 vs. 6'4" 240 and maybe a step slower with a 4.67 forty vs. a 4.6 forty. Both are of the hybrid DE/SLB variety. Of those who would know, how do they compare on film? If we miss out on Hale, there are still a few DEs on the board in Jack Crawford, Ben Jones and possibly Coples. Plus, Cam Heyward and Solomon Thomas getting RAVE reviews from practice. Obviously I would love Hale, but just tryng to put some things in perspective.
