Lance Stephenson breaks down the meaning of "swagger"

When it comes to Lincoln's superstar guard, let's face it: Lance Stephenson's swagger stands out almost as much as his skill, especially in big games. With cameras from his proposed reality series filming, Stephenson had his strut on display in the Elite 24 Hoops Classic at fabled Rucker Park last Friday. He brought his game too, scoring 36 points to win co-MVP honors.

A day before, Stephenson took some time to break down his bravado, explaining why it is so blatant and also how it's frequently misunderstood. The 6-5 guard known as "Born Ready" also explains why fellow class of '09 standout Renardo Sidney, a big man from California, was lucky to be playing on his side at Rucker.

"My swag comes from where I'm from - that's Coney Island. In Coney Island, that's our style. It's flashy. I take how we hang around off the court, and play like that on the court. You could see I got a cool style and I like to play to make everybody watch."
