I just realized looking at the list that Michigan is 4-1 in the BCS-era vs SEC team in bowls, having beaten Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, and Florida. They're averaging 37 ppg vs SEC teams in their wins.
Appalachian St > Michigan > SEC.
