Todd Boeckman in speaking specifically about Saine, Sanzenbacher, Washington and Torrence.
Quote:

"You know, you get the ball in their hand, they're fast," he said. "They can make plays. Just get it in their hand, they're going to make something happen."
|
How fast? Witness Sanzenbacher's recollection of his first catch, the grab of a bullet from Boeckman for the Buckeyes' first TD of the season, a 3-yard play.
Quote:
"To be honest, it was like a blur," he said. "It seemed like they snapped the ball and then I was handing it to the ref. Everything went by way fast."
Not fast enough for his fellow plebes on the sideline to miss it, Heyward said. It was the same when Washington caught a pass from Antonio Henton over the middle in the fourth quarter and turned it into a 37-yard quick six. Their freshman brethren were watching.
"Every time they were on the field, we were all cheering for them," Heyward said. "We're going to dedicate ourselves, we're going to help each other, and we're going to keep pushing each other to the limit."

I really like that last quote from Cam Heywerd. This is why the freshman seemed to have come alive, they appear to be a more cohesive unit "dedicated" to seeing the others do well.
