COLUMBUS, Ohio ? The Ohio State
women?s cross country team took sixth in the Mel Brodt Invitational Saturday in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Freshman
Ellen Birmingham finished sixth overall on the 5-Kilometer course with a mark of 18:09.40. For the second-consecutive meet the Buckeyes featured a Top 5 of all underclassmen.
Freshman
Kesha Brooks was second on the team finishing 18th overall in a time of 18:35.03.
Ashley Chirco rounded out the Top 3 for the Scarlet and Gray coming in at time of 19:07.79 and finishing 35th.
The Buckeyes will take a week off and then head to the South Bend, Ind., for the Notre Dame Invitational Sept. 28.
