IMO gameday atmosphere and the passion of the fans (especially) has everything to do with how successful a program is in the long run. Afterall, if no one cared, the program wouldn't get the money it needs to be top notch.

What makes a school great are its students, faculty and alumni. Therefore, I am part of what makes Ohio State great. Say what you want about yourself.

As for being loud and all that crap to get a recruit, I agree that it doesn't make a difference.

Since when is being passionate about something wrong? Ohio State fans can seem like they are a little crazy on the outside, but for better or worse this is who we are. This is what we get behind, our Buckeyes. This whole town lives and breathes and dies Ohio State Football.
