I truly dont understand our defensive schemes. We are forced to play zone coverage because our cornerbacks aren't any good (its not like we used our last two first round picks on them or anything), and thus cant blitz. When we dont blitz, we cant generate any pressure with our defensive line because we have no good pass rushers on the team, thus giving the opposing QB's all day to pick apart our zone coverage.

While its still early, I don't think there is any way that we get the playoffs in the AFC with this defense. At the end of the season we need to let Justin Smith go, as we are paying him way too much considering how little he contributes, and figure out a way to move up to draft a stud DE like Lawrence Jackson, Quinton Groves, Chris Long or Calais Campbell so that we can start getting some pressure on the QB from the front four.
