Another struggling team next for Ohio State
Jim Naveau | jnaveau@limanews.com - 09.24.2007
COLUMBUS ? Ohio State quarterback Todd Boeckman was talking about hitting wide open receivers with passes, but he could have been talking about the two-game stretch of games for the Buckeyes that started with Northwestern on Saturday night and continues this Saturday night at Minnesota.
?Coach always says you can?t miss the lay-ups,? Boeckman said.
Minnesota (1-3, 0-1 Big Ten) appears to be a second straight week in the lay-up line for OSU (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten), which rolled over Northwestern 58-7 in its Big Ten opener on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
Minnnesota?s one victory is over Miami (Ohio) in overtime. It lost its opener in overtime to Bowling Green, lost to Florida Atlantic and lost 45-31 to Purdue on Saturday.
