OSU notebook: Laurinaitis switches focus to Purdue after trip home

James Laurinaitis' No. 33 jersey was a popular sight Saturday night in the Metrodome.
In the Metrodome stands Saturday night in Minneapolis, there appeared to be a favorite souvenir jersey number among the fans: Ohio State No. 33. There might have been more than 10,000
OSU fans among the announced crowd of 51,611, but Minnesota is James Laurinaitis country, even if he is Ohio State's junior All-America linebacker.
"I definitely didn't imagine that (sight) three years ago," Laurinaitis said, recalling when he signed with the Buckeyes out of the Minneapolis suburb of Hamel. "It has been kind of dream come true."
