He's beyond old school in his approach and he is the killer of pitchers arms.
I could live with the former if I had to but the latter is the deal breaker. His overall personality doesn't exactly make me all warm and fuzzy either.
Look at PBP(pitcher abuse points) for his guys when he was the manager) Prior and Wood didn't just wake up one day and their arms fell off.

Bottom line is it would signify to me beyond any point of return that this front office is so incompetent as to be nearly criminal. I think after 15 years or so a fan of a team who shows neither the desire or ability to get better has the right to be a free agent(if they so desire) without the stigma of "bandwagoner" hanging over their heads.
This sorry bunch of [censored]s is just going over the same ground the last two sorry bunch of [censored]s had already covered. Its 11 years and counting since a post season appearance([censored] '99 and that 1 game playoff [censored]). Hiring Dusty would accelerate those last 4 years on my contract imo.
