Suggest they write something about fan pride in the program, and how we're all behind the university as we have to endure a second round of NCAA high inquisition to humor a bitter child. Or about how the Ohio State/Michigan game is in many ways representative of everything that makes college football great.
<!-- Or about how, if Herbstreit really did say on air that he would tell his kid not to go to
OSU if he was interested in offense, and that if he actually recently said that
OSU thinks it's "bigger than college football" just because Geiger has the audacity to defend his program in the midst of corrupt hacks like Mike Freeman calling him a "garbage truck driver" running one of (paraphrasing) "the dirtiest programs ever in college football" -- ugh, I lost my train of thought.
I'm a huge Herbstreit fan, I think he's always been a fair and objective voice, and I think he knows college ball better than 99% of his peers. But he's lost objectivity when it comes to Tressel and "Tressel-ball", and if he keeps walking down the path he has been lately, he's going to find himself unwelcome in Columbus.
I guess I broke off on a tangent. Here's a summary: screw the media.
--edit--
Actually, here's a perfect example of why Columbus media in general could use a good ass kicking. It's freaking Michigan week, and someone just wants to write about how much some fans hate Holbrook.
Get me a journalist who will let me go off on journalism as a whole. There's something I could go on a tear about.
Screw lawyer jokes. "Q: How do you know the difference between a good reporter, and a bad one? A: The good one is dead." -->
