I agree that Herby should consider his job 1st and his relationship with
OSU second. ESPN is signing his check to be a commentator, not a homer for
OSU. That said, I think Geiger is 100% correct in what he has said in regards to Herbstreit. Geiger is defending his institution, and is saying that anyone who messes with it, will not be welcomed with open arms. Geiger's handling of both the Obie situation and the MoC mess have shown,IMO, that he is more than willing to fess up when mistakes have been made, and is willing to clean house and take the blame, but that he is not going to take unjustified criticism from the media lying down. I kinda JT had more of an attitude about the media-open but confrontational-like Geiger does. Both Herbstreit and Geiger are doing their jobs-sometimes it will require them to cross swords.
