Right now the two top contenders to meet up with the Buckeyes are South Florida and Boston College.
Now, this next isn't a critique of the relative merits of those two teams. Rather it is a rhetorical question.
Is either the ACC or the Big East demonstrably more competitive than the Big 10? I don't believe so. (Unless, that is, your definition of competitive purely means greater parity within said league).
So, isn't your real question this:
How will the Buckeyes fare if the win out and play a one-loss team that played a tougher schedule than the Buckeyes?
