1998 is, if anything, one of the reasons why Ohio State
wont lose in 2007. That Sparty team had "no chance" of beating the Buckeyes. It was over before it started. That's no longer the case. The Buckeyes don't line up against anyone expecting to throw their helmets on the field and come away with a victory.
If it's Dantonio you're worried about (and if anything, he's the key factor as a HUGE upgrade over Johnelle) consider he is 0 -2 v. Tressel, and has managed just 13 points in two tries while giving up 64. Before you say "Yeah, but that was Cincinnati, not MSU" consider that those Cincy teams were both Bowl teams... something MSU has not been since losing to Nebraska in the 2003 Alamo bowl.
