a JT QB is an extension of JT. Conservative, vanilla, detailed, and well, boring. .

Completely disagree.
I am sure that the coaching staff is pointing to Troy Smith while recruiting Pryor, showing that we know what to do with a QB that is a dynamic, athletic, stud playmaker. Troy (and the '06 Offense) was not at all "conservative, vanilla, or ...boring". Troy was only "better" in your eyes? He is the only Big Ten QB to win a Heisman Trophy...that's far beyond "better...but very much like his (Coach T's) other QBs.
EDIT:
Sorry for wandering off course. I know that this is neither the Troy Smith, nor Terrell Pryor thread. My appologies.
