vy played his part that night, but the texas d won that game. he may have thrown the final td in the final seconds. but if their d gives up 21 instead of 9 that is nothing more than a garbage time td to keep things from looking as bad as they really were. they had a great team that year.

as far as tressel is concerned. he impresses me more every single year. it really seems to me that not only does he shape his offense to match the players. but he seems to be getting more aggressive as time goes on. im not sure if he is getting more comfortable with his job and no longer afraid of being fired if he looses. or if it is taking him time to adjust from D1 AA athletes and schemes to D1 A. or it could simply be that the things he wanted to do simply weren't possible until he was able to work in his recruits. but i have been very happily impressed by the way he is managing this season and as well as seasons past. you always see players develop over 3 - 5 years. its not as common to watch a coach/coaching staff do the same.
