I guess he did transer out of Friendly, as speculated above, thus Thomas being a friend and former teammate. Anyways...

He does sound like a great kid and prospect. You can't discount the feeling he got when he grew up a Buckeye fan and received his first official offer from us as well. Also, we won't have a situation where his coach his pulling for the home school here, as he is a big Buckeye fan as well. Givens has the prototypical Tressel-esque CB size, at 6'0"+, roughly 180lbs and fast. It is easy to see now, with how good our secondary is and how often we play the Nickel package, why we need so many solid DBs on the roster. Tressel truly is a master at his craft.
