Ohio State fans smiling

Ohio State fans have to be smiling these days.

The Buckeyes are undefeated again this football season and ranked No. 1 in all of the polls. But those Buckeye fans around the Louisville-area have more to be happy about.

Trinity linebacker Jordan Whiting has already committed to Ohio State and the 6-foot, 225-pound junior is having a sensational season for the Shamrocks (8-2).

Whiting leads the Trinity defense with 73 total tackles, including 68 solos. Whiting also has 10 tackles for a loss and two sacks on the season.

He teams with senior Wes Weitlauf (46 total tackles, 9 for a loss and two interceptions) to make up one of the best linebacking duos in the state of Kentucky.
