I think Diebler's stock is going to raise fast after a camp like this. If he shows off his shooting range and touch and his ability to get to the rack and shoot off the dribble, the scouts will come away very impressed. There is nothing more impressive than a kid being able to knock down a 3 on a consistent basis.

The thing about Rose is... is he really a PG? Or a Gilbert Arenas/Wade type SG? My hope is, unless Bruce Weber wants a Villanove type offense, neither Gordon and Rose won't be able to coexist ont he court becuase neither is really a PG enough to run the team. Whereas, Butler and COnley are established enough as PG's to where they are adapt to distributing and getting others invloved. After we win it all in 2007 , a lineup of Conley, Rose, Lighty, Koufos and... Oden? Lauderdale? Frease? would be defintie favorites to win it 2008. I hope Matta can relay the info to him . However... Conley, Diebler, Lighty, Koufos and wheover plays center would be very nice as well.

Them two on the same team would be deadly. I think Rose could easily fit the combo 1/2 forumula and Gordon could possibly do the same. I still think they get those two and Evan Turner. That is going to be one heckuva matchup between us and them.

I followed more of the football stuff this weekend... how was diebler's strength? From some reports, I had wondered if he would need to redshirt to bulk up. If he's taking the ball inside, perhaps those pontifications were off-base. We definitely could use him right away if he's ready, as I'm not sure Cook will be around for year two.

Well he is still going to need to add weight, but he still has a while till he would be needed to play. I think once he gets into lifting hard all the time he will have no problem being ready to play as a freshmen. He also seems to have the knowledge to make up for some of his lack of stregth.

I posted this over at BN, and i thought I would do it here too just to get some feedback. this is what I see as the future for OSU:
07':<!--EZCODE BOLD END--><!--EZCODE UNDERLINE END-->
-We lose Harris, Lewis, Oden
-We bring in Koufos, Lauderdale, Diebler, Tyus
<!--EZCODE BOLD START-->Linup of:<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
PG: Butler, Conley
SG: Cook, Diebler
SF: Lighty, Tyus
PF: Koufos, Hunter, Madsen
C: Terwilliger, Lauderdale
<!--EZCODE UNDERLINE START--><!--EZCODE BOLD START-->08':<!--EZCODE BOLD END--><!--EZCODE UNDERLINE END-->
-We lose Butler, Terwilliger, Hunter, Cook
-We bring in Mullens, Offutt, Crater, Roe
<!--EZCODE BOLD START-->Lineup of:<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
PG: Conley, Crater
SG: Diebler, Offutt
SF: Lighty, Tyus, Roe
PF: Koufos, Madsen
C: Lauderdale, Mullens
...I would LOVE to get Frease too, but i don't know that there will be room enough for him.
