You are swinging my words around...They got burned in terms of a kid that they thought was going to be here longer...They weren't thinking of the idea of him leaving, or they would of recruited a PG in either the 06' class or 07 for sure, and the cycle would not of had to start over, or had an NIT in there...

That's been the problem. Not many schools have four "one and done's" in two years. Even without Conley, Cook would have kept this team out of the NIT.
The 06-07 squad was only nine players strong and five left. We are laughing at IU for being in only slightly worse shape. Yet, had the three Frosh made the same decision to stay that the kids in Florida did we would have challenged for the NC again last year.
And let's go easy on dissing OSU because they aren't sustaining like UNC. Just be glad we are being mentioned in the same breath. |

I wasn't "dissing" Ohio State because I realize that Thad you need some time to build up depth in the program so that we can maintain NCAA tournament teams year after year.

If we can get through this upcoming season with just losing Mullens then we will have that foundation for the program.........if we lose Turner and Buford we will once again have a whole different squad for the 09-10 season....

I highly doubt if Turner will go but I am hearing rumblings that Buford is looking awfully good in open gym. Even losing 2 guys instead of just one will hurt the following season.
