I don't know where you have seen that. In fact, there was a little bit of chatter in this thread a couple weeks ago about him coming to a attend a Columbus public high school next year but there is no verification of that.

I think he was referring to the article and quote in the Indy Star blog. Kyle Neddenriep tossed out this butter bomb that begs for better backing: Quote:

I guess I must've missed that article
Personally, that is the first that I have ever heard of him wavering and our guys usually are right on top of things. I guess we all have to remember who wrote the article and what city that newspaper is located. Until I hear a direct quote from DeShawn, I will relax![]() |

I too think its wishful thinking based on "fan speculation" rather than anything coming from DeShawn himself, or even his camp.
A much more believable rumor is that he'll be joining Sully and Weatherspoon at Northland next season, though that's far from concrete yet. What a powerhouse they would be with their young emerging guards and then a front line of Sully, Spoon and DeShawn. WOW!! Maybe Sibert should relocate and join them - if he wants a h.s. championship! |

Ok, reading the updates, albeit after a few adult beverages, (I've read the whole thread over the years) I wonder what type of offensive game Thomas has. Thomas is obviously talented, but I guess my question, to those who know more than I (that would cover the vast majority of posters on BP
) is what type of offensive skills does the young man have, I understand he is a good outside shooter, not Reddick like yet, but pretty solid for a HSer, specially a 6'7" one, but where and how does he score most of his points? I also understand he is pretty good off the dribble, but does he simply take advantage of a height and weight differential and post up smaller guys, or does he have a pretty advanced mid-range game? Michael Redd had a fine career at tOSU, but took off in the NBA when he developed his mid-range game. The mid-range game is also what makes ET so hard to defend and gives Buford so much potential. Also Daquan Cook had the reputation of having a very good mid-range game, which is part of what made him so highly rated. I just wonder whether DT's game is college ready, by being diverse and hard to defend anywhere and everywhere, or will he have a good sized adjustment to get used to guys as big and quick as him? |

I think he's got an all around offensive game
