Basketball Preview: Other players to keep an eye on
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 11/14/07
Don't sleep on these players, flying under the radar.
Trae Golden, McEachern: He burst onto the scene last season as a freshman while helping the Indians to a 23-4 record. Slowed some by a leg injury, the 6-foot-2 sophomore was second on the team in scoring at 16.5 points per game. A very unselfish player, he averaged 4.5 assists per game while shooting 45 percent from 3-point range. He has already committed to signing with Ohio State.

Good article by Kyle Lamb that offers a little background info on Trae.
PS. Nice tidbit about Thomas at the end as well.

Trae led his team over Columbia who is a powerhouse in GA and hadn't lost to an instate foe is 47 games. Trae had 26 pts and 7 assists.
Here is also some free video of Trae
He kinda reminds me of an OJ mayo type player, not necessairly a PG, but has the vision of a pg and takes care of the ball well, and shoots the ball very well...This is just a quick little video so hard to really get a read on him whether is he more of a combo guard or a pg...But he is silky smooth off the bounce, the ease that he reads the floor and makes great passes, and has a lot of quicks to go with his game...Very good player...

Yeah, that gym reminded me of Freshman basketball in Rhode Island. Anyways, I love the idea of an early commited PG. Hopefully he is continually working on other players during tournaments in tOSU behalf.
