THE SKY, IT'S FALLING!




Ok, so first off, I woke up this morning right around the end of the second quarter. I had a battle with a bottle of Jamisons last night, and well, there's still some whiskey left, and I felt like crap this morning. So, I rolled into my office and turned on the tv, seeing the score at the time 3-7 Ohio, I think I may have pooped my pants a little. So, I went and got my coffee then sat down to watch the game, occasionally glancing at the BP game thread. The game had it's moments, but the real entertainment, for me anyways, was watching BP posters get their asses banned.

Look, let me give you some pointers here.

1) We are going to win some, and occasionally, we are going to lose some as well. I know there's high expectations, but support your team, don't whine about what's going on, just hope for some adjustments.

2) You don't play for the team. No matter how much whining, complaining and hell, even crying, you can't change what's going on.

3) Trust the coaches. A term we use here often, but it holds a certain ammount of truth. We all love the Buckeyes, but when we fall behind I see people asking "WHAT IS JT DOING? OMG!!!" But the reality is, he usually pulls it out and makes us proud.

4) Don't forget where we were. Look, Cooper was a great recruiter, but he was an average coach, I supported the guy when he was our coach but only for the reason that he was our coach. Look at where we are now, not only are we in the "national title picture" but we're one of the teams that's considered a favorite almost every year.

5) If you can't keep yourself calm, then don't post on BP. Pretty [censored]ing simple right? "I can't post on BP during the game because I act like a [censored]ing retard" is a perfectly good reason.

Anyways...

O-H-I-O

Ok, so the game was tougher than I expected. I didn't like the line to begin with, mostly because I figured the Bobcats could score, and JT doesn't really like to run the score up. The Bucks came out flat, on both sides of the ball, what else do you say about that? Every team does it, underestimate your opponent, we came out with a win, that doesn't happen with a lot of teams.

The good news, we are 2-0 going to USC.



GOLDEN TATE CONSIDERED GREATER THAN SLICED BREAD!



There's no two ways about it, Notre Dame is going undefeated this year, they will win the national title, and the only two people invited to the heisman ceremony will be Tate/Clausen. Ok, not really, Notre Dame, you guys still suck. Celebrate your victory but let's look at a bit of reality here.

You got some calls to go your way that could have easily changed the face of that game. Hell, during that last touchdown run I still don't know how you went from 4th and 15 to a sudden personal foul on SDSU leaving the drive still alive. Also, you were a 21 point favorite and barely beat a team that lost to Cal Poly. Trust me, if you play every game like today, you're getting maybe 4 wins this year.

There's good news and bad news. The good news is for the fans, congratulations, you are 1-0 and setting yourself up for the "nobody [censored]ing cares" bowl against tsun next weekend. The bad news is for the players, Charlie has determined that eating your pre game meals is a motivational tool.

But who am I to take something from you, get your drink on. And remember, no matter how this season turns out, you can always pull the "Academic Standards" card in any conversation.



HOLY [censored], THERE'S AN EAST CAROLINA?

[censored] me once, shame on you, [censored] me twice, shame on me. Last week, ECU upset Va-tech, so there's no way that WVU comes in and plays uninspired football right? Nope, two teams in the same state get their ass kicked by a school who I couldn't tell you anything about 2 weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, I like WVU, band I give props to ECU for playing, but this is just funny as hell. Look at the cupcake you scheduled, now consider yourselves the laughing stock of college football for a bit.

It's tough right now to say this team isn't for real, but it's still funny to think about these "great" teams that they started with who scheduled them thinking they had a cakewalk. Can you visualize the coaches discussing the season?

Coach "Ok, who's this week?"
Staff "East Caronlina"
Coach "No game plan needed, who's up next week?"

Funny as hell for me, I like the name of the "Pirates" for a team, so they got my support!

Congrats tsun, you managed to win a game, and top that off with the fact that it was a team in Ohio. My boss said to me today "we're 1 and 0 against the state of Ohio under coach Rod." Yeah, I like that optimism, there's nothing against it, but if you think that the Redhawks are the same as the Buckeyes, you are really going to regret the last game of the season. Honestly, I saw the highlights from this game, and I figured tsun would win, but I knew that two touchdown spread was a [censored]ing joke so I took it.

There's going to be some adjustment time for that school up north. We see that with any head coach, well other than with Weis, but only one man has that schemic advantage. So don't get your hopes up, support your team, don't be one of those fans that jumps off the bandwagon, trust me, if you ride out the bad times, it makes the good times that much better. I may hate you, hate your school, hate your state, and think of you as part of Canada, but I do respect the fans who stick through the tough times with any team, even the [censored]-school.

That's about the only way i can explain the end of the BYU/Washington game. Nothing more to say, if I was a Washingto fan I would have probably kicked the screen to my TV in. So for you guys, here's where I bought my last TV Paul's TV Co. I figure they can give you a good deal, hopefully some store in the state of Washington holds a "that really sucked" sale.

JOEPA IS [censored]ED

Someone might want to pull Joepa off of the rest of the country. Right now, PSU has been completely dominant, and they are not being nice about it. You can beat someone, you can beat someone up, and you can take someones family hostage slowly executing them one by one. JoePa is bordering on the third option. After watching a bit of the Oregon State game, I have to say they are going to be a challenge this year. So much for "he should retire, he's lost it."

Hell, I am not a guy who thinks JoePa should retire, hell, the guys been around longer than I can remember. I am pretty sure his first play call was a pass to the Triceratops out in the flat. Honestly, I think he needs to market himself more. Why quit? He could make so much money if he started endorsing products. Hell, how many old people would jump on any adult diaper he endorsed? Think of the possiblities, heart pills, walkers, muscle pain rub, the options are endless.

Maybe I'll be back later tonight, I am pretty buzzed up, but there's still some football to go. I got the Miami v Florida game going on and there will be some pac-10 [censored] tonight, so who knows.
