You're aware that Dionte' is Pepper's kid, not Pete's, right?

Man that's embarrassing...
I was AT ohio state when Pepper was there... I took pride that a guy from detroit would go to osu and then send his son to MY high school... you'd think i'd know better... um... no you wouldn't |

PERFECT PAIR: Ohio State fullback Dionte Johnson and his dad, New England Patriots assistant coach Pepper Johnson, are sharing perfect seasons. No. 1 Ohio State is 9-0 overall, going into Saturday?s game against Wisconsin. And the Patriots are 8-0 going into Sunday?s much-anticipated NFL showdown against the Indianapolis Colts. So, does the younger Johnson get any advice from his dad, a former OSU captain? ?All the time. They?re in a similar situation, in the same boat,? Dionte Johnson said earlier this week. He just says it?s not over with yet. If you want to play half a season and then celebrate, then go ahead. But that?s not what we want. We?re not satisfied right now.? |

I think Dionte and Tyler will have big roles in the cmapionship game. Against Michigan, Beanie ran much more effectively with a lead blocker in the game. In general, I think Beanie runs better with a fullback in front of him. It helps him find his hole IMO.
After a rough opening game against YSU (multiple false start penalties) Dionte, quietly, has had a very good year. |
