I doubt it's a coincidence that Mangold traded blows after a rough shot from Ingram after two full days of schooling Ingram's teammate Dvoracek. All reports from the Senior Bowl I've read stated that Mangold was a stud on Monday and Tuesday -- making Dvoracek look silly. The Wednesday report finally mentions Dvoracek beating Mangold once on a pass rush and Ingram taking a shot at Nick's head. Sounds like sour grapes from some overrated Oklahoma players to me. |

From Wednesday's practice notes on Clint Ingram:
"Got into a big scrape in practice....first squared off against Mark Setterstrom then got into fisticuffs with another Big Ten lineman, Nick Mangold. The end result was Mangold's helmet flying off and Ingram being sent to the bench." |

Mel Kiper (on ESPiN today) said that Nick Mangold was #4 on his list of people that have really risen their draft stock at the senior bowl practices. Said that he "may have solidified himself as a 2nd round draft choice"

Nick is having a very solid Senior Bowl. He's looked good on running plays and in pass protection. He's really improved his draft position this week.

He is doing pretty well. I saw him on the sidelines and going in at halftime. I also saw him on a few plays out on the field. On what i saw he stills looks good like he did with the Bucks. GOOD LUCK MANGOLD # 55!

Nick has quietly had a great career at tOSU, he's one of those guys that most don't understand how much he will be missed. I'm quite certain he'll follow LeCharles Bentley's footsteps to the pro bowl in the next couple years.

Losing Nick is my biggest concern for the upcoming year. He has been so instrumental in the performance of our offense.
