It's nice to see your senior center turning it on at the end of the season

Does it seem like we've had more than our share of the POW honors? Seems like just about every week it's Butler, Foster, Dials, and even on the ladies' side Davenport wins it a lot. Guess that's just how it goes when you have two programs at the very top of the conference.

he'll be a good pf in the N.B.A. I know some clowns said he'll be a center but, not to many 6'9 centers . Wallace is 6' 10
I wish he had another big body to help him battle down low because, thats the only thing this great team is missing |

All the luck in the world to Terrence, this team would be nowhere without him, but if he made an NBA roster I'd be pretty surprised. |

Good point and I was thinking the samething but, he gets the job done down low for the buckeyes and he is the only one doing it.
Your right. His footspeed is slow but, so is elton brands and he does pretty good for being undersized and not the most athletic player playing the 4 spot. He's a big scorer to He'll make a team and I see him turning into a charles oakley/ boozer/wallace or a mahorn type of player down the road. Some teams need that type of player to be the dirty man The game was only a speed game but, now all those N.B.A teams want a PF with some big bodied size to eat up the space down low. Look at the CAVS, Gooden is a good player with no weight but, almost every game the other team gets almost all the offensive rebounds to easily because, they have no tough guy down low. College is tough enough but, the N.B.A teams need a center and a pf to do all the ditry work down low to give them a better chance to win the boards and game Look at the pistons , the 2 wallaces dominate down low. Dials will never be a rasheed wallace but, he could become the other wallace that came along after years in the N.B.A of playing.. I hope he does but, he won't ba a lottery pick so only time could tell |

Terence Dials (Official Thread)
Didn't see one of these in existence yet and it's about time we make one...
Today Terence was named Big10 Player of the Year!!! Quite an honor for the big fellow and a great reward for his hard work over these last 5 seasons. From OSU's site... Quote:

Good idea bucknut11, I merged this thread with many other related Dials threads into one thread.

Congratulations on a job well done to both Thad Matta and Terrence Dials!

I also don't see Dials as an NBA player, but guys like Reggie Evans seem to manage to hang around so anything's possible. To do it, he'll need to get serious about the weights and diet, work hard on defensive technique, and develop a consistent 15 foot jumper. I give him a decent chance of being able to do the last of those, and the other two should theoretically be up to him. Even if he does those things, he's a journeyman due to being a tweener and having very questionable athleticism, but there's nothing wrong with being an 8 year NBA journeyman. Good luck to him.
