COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police arrested an Ohio State University football player Monday night on the city's north side.
According to the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office, Antonio Henton was arrested and charged with soliciting a prostitute on North High Street and East 6th Avenue at about 8:30 p.m., NBC 4 reported.
Henton is the third-string quarterback for the Buckeyes.
Henton was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning in a Franklin County courtroom.

1460 THE FAN did say that the question was asked whether or not this was solicitation of drugs or prostitution and they would not elaborate. Misdeameanor 1st degree solicitation is the charge. That leads me to believe it was for prostitution, but what do I know?

Alright...those of you in the know...if guilty, will he likely be kicked off the team? Arrested is obviously serious stuff, but guys with DUI's have made it through. I'm guessing he'd be suspended for the remainder of '07. But I wonder what next? I'm certainly not going to make an excuse for the guy, but let's face it...college kids can make some dumb decisions sometimes. I think most of us can remember making some pretty dumb mistakes ourselves. If he's truly a good kid who made a very poor decision, then I sure hope he gets a second chance ala Toy Smith and Alex Boone.

What a disappointment to Buckeye land though. There was so much buzz lately about this guy. Reality check for us adults who put so much stock in a bunch of kids.
