2ND SHIFT PASSED OFF THE COMPLAINT TO 3RD SHIFT INFORMING US IT WAS NOT SIGNED BY THE OFFICER. 3RD SHIFT CONTACTED CPD RECS TO ASK TO HAVE THE OFFICER COME BACK IN AND SIGN THE COMPLAINT. THE TECH INFORMED US THE OFFICER WAS NO LONGER ON DUTY. THE TECH WOULD FIGURE SOMETHING OUT.

Lets let the Case come up and see what happens...People gave up on Troy Smith to for taking what he did..Grant it totally different thing and Worse then what Troy did... But Tressel is known for his second chances and turning kids around... Tressel gives up on nobody untill he knows it hurts his football team... He has been through Clarett Izharry Guilford Etc... If Henton dont return Bauserman and Scholft will battle it out for number 2 and 3... I was Excited just like all of u with Henton but remeber buckeye fans... No 1 player is better then this Whole Team...

Uhm.... what are you talking about? Looking for trouble? Looks to me like he was looking for a good time. He didn't get into a fight, he didn't stab anyone, he wasn't found with a weapon and wearing gang colors, he solicited a hooker. Something that is as victim-less as you can get, yet you're calling it "looking for trouble?"

A booster situation would risk the whole program, this doesn't do that, it puts himself at risk.

As someone who usually takes a hard line on discipline cases, I believe that you're mistaken. While Henton should certainly be strongly punished, I'm not willing to throw this kid under the bus. The Troy Smith episode taught me that sometimes kids deserve second chances. Look at where Troy Smith ended up after receiving that second chance, and IMO it has absolutely nothing to do with what he accomplished on the field. I'd have been just as proud of him had he played out his career as a backup--but accomplished the same goals in getting his act together, graduating and being accepted into graduate school.

It's not a morality issue at all. I don't think Antonio is a horrible person or anything like that.

I just don't see how you can trust the kid to represent the institution.

I will say this though, I do believe this is more indicitive of a troubled person then a drinking or pot offense...Seems like you have an extreme disregard for a lot of social norms to think paying for sex is a good idea (and this leads me to believe this won't be the last issue we see with Antonio). There is a whole laundry list of reasons why it's just a horrible decision for a regular person to engage in this type of behavior, let alone an athlete at one of the most prestigious programs in the country.

I don't see how this changes peoples views on him any more than it did when strippers would say Troy was a good tipper. The only real difference is one is legal, one isn't, other than that, if you're taking the moral ground they are about the same. A drinking offense can lead to a [censored]-ton of problems, ones I don't even want to discuss in this thread, but at the end of the night you can find yourself in a whole mess of issues, and a pot offense can end your career, as Ricky Williams.
