As much as I'd love to have him, my gut says were not getting Pryor; Oregon - or similar spread offense has him. If i'm wrong, I'll be suprised.
Doesnt matter, i'm sold on the possibilities Henton brings to the table. He's troyesque .... accept Troy wasnt a herald recruit like this kid. |

Im really doubting oregon is going to get pryor, today they got a commitment from Darron Thomas, a QB out of texas, making that 2 qb commitments for oregon this year, I highly doubt oregon will take 3 qb's these year. However, I agree, even if we miss out on Pryor i still have enough faith in Antonio to run our offense for the next few years after Todd leaves

Can't tell if you are being sarcastic so I'll bite...the height factor on QBs is one of the slow crumbling "prototypes" However, it is slowly but surely crumbling especially in the college game.

![]() get ready to be surprised. ps - Troy was an Elite 11 QB, Henton wasn't. |

Wouldn't you agree though that having sufficient height to see through the gaps remains a requirement? (No matter how mobile the QB might be).

Not as much as having the gaps to see through.

I think that's the point though. The definition of "sufficient" height is being redefined.

I don't go there very often at all but my brother has told me of a guy that has predicted all of the recruits' commitments this year on Bucknuts. Good or Bad and this guy is either in with the Brew Crew or something cause he is in on everything. He is saying that Pryor is a lock along with Mike Brewster, whom he called after his big HS game, and Josh Jenkins is very very close. He predicted Mobley, Sabino, and a few other big name recruits a week or two before they commited. |

Right. At least on the college level, that idea of "sufficient" is dropping...the NFL has been slower to adjust and, in all fairness, it is a totally different game.

Not sure it is a "requirement" although undoubtly it helps. I'm not sure of Antonio's actual height, but he sure was good in HS and has looked pretty good with his limited opportunity at tOSU. I think the Bucks would do quite well with AH at the helm. I'd like to think that AH's ability and potential is at least as much a reason for RS's move to tight end as Robbie's struggles.

Somehow I just have a feeling he will play in the NC game.

I don't believe that height is nearly as big a facet in college ball as there are too many short Qb's that do very well especially since the advent of the spread offenses. I agree that in the NFL it is much more of a requirement as the personnel are usually of the same height across the lines onboth sides of the ball , Big!.

Fact is AH is taller than Troy is and he had no problem seeing through the gaps. I think that the height issue has been overblown based on perceptions for too long. Look at Drew Brees for the Chargers and Saints, he is only 6'0" tall. As long as the O-Line is oppening up holes a QB will have no problems getting the ball downfield. We all know how great a big game coach Tress is, I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited about all of the news coming out about AH's role right now. He will give the team a dynamic that nobody has seen from us this year, it is hard to plan for something you have no film on, especially when it is the Vest planning it.
