Boeckman/Henton welcome any and all competition

Antonio Henton was elevated to the No. 2 position in bowl practice. Though he didn't play in the title game, the coaching staff likely is plotting how to use the more mobile Henton this fall, at least situationally.
Each of the past two national champions used a two-quarterback template that would look similar to a Boeckman/Henton rotation: Florida had steady senior Chris Leak and scrambling freshman Tim Tebow in 2006, and Louisiana State had fifth-year senior Matt Flynn and sophomore Ryan Perrilloux last season.
"I think it could work," Ohio State quarterbacks coach Joe Daniels said. "Sometimes you can get carried away with it, but I think if you work on the strengths of each of the guys, and they're different, then I think you can accomplish a lot."
Then there's Terrelle Pryor, who apparently is the next Dan Marino, Joe Montana, John Elway, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning all rolled into one. The Jeannette, Pa., prospect has Ohio State among his final choices, and he has been vocal about getting a chance to play right away.
Henton said he's not worried about competing with Pryor.
"That just makes me think they want another quarterback to come in that can do some things I can do," Henton said. "I hope they do get him. That makes me go harder."

On a two-quarterback system with Henton, he said, "That's not a big deal to me at all. If that gives us a better chance of winning, I'm all for it. I know he's a great player, and he can give us an extra added dimension."
