![]() I could be wrong, but I think I heard the starting job is based on who is doing the best job at the time, and not who might transfer. ![]() Nothing like a group of top-notch QBs competing to make for some great football... I hope the team is successful enough that they all get playing time, regardless of the order. |

While I think that a certain unsigned recruit has all of the potential in the world, as they stand at this moment, Henton is heads and shoulders ahead as a passer. Obviously he lacks the size and speed combination that makes the unnamed recruit so highly sought after, but as we have seen in our system, even relatively unathletic QBs are able to gain yards effectively. Henton has more than enough mobility to be highly successful as a dual-threat. I agree that any QB coming into the program would have his work cut out for him when it comes to passing Henton.

Both of these young men have yet to prove themselves on the field of play at Div 1. That said, I am delighted that we have Antonio on the team and that he did not transfer. I'd like to see him get a chance to show us what he's got this year.

I was trying to think of what pro qb I would compare the OSU qbs to and I came up with:
Antonio = Steve Young Todd = Drew Bledsoe Terrelle = Vince Young Joe = ? Last edited by palmbuck; 02-07-2008 at 08:27 PM. |

He's been listed at 6'2" most places. I haven't seen him listed at 6'3". And we all know how measurements are usually inflated so I'm just assuming he's around 6'1". Not that it really makes a difference.

how patheic is it that if he has an above average career but still doesn't do quite as well as troy he'll end up goin in the 2nd-3rd round? 1-2 inches in height bring him up 100 spots or so from where troy was drafted.
I really like the way Henton plays though. He seemed like he was able to balance out wether to run or throw the ball. He wasn't always a run first guy even though we only saw him play very sparingly. |
