2. Definitely the second half of the Kent State game, since we were up 35-0 at half. 3. Possibly the last drive or two of the Penn State game after we were up 34-10 in the latter part of the fourth quarter. Those three games are in addition to the three games he did play in... |

Looks like Henton may be gone. 11W is reporting that he has already told his teammates that he's transferring. Sad to see him go, but I completely understand. Best of luck, Antonio! You'll always be a Buckeye!
Eleven Warriors ? Henton Headed Home? |

I agree about the comeptition for the most part but if he feels the writing is on the wall (for whatever reason) then I can understand his decision. I am VERY happy to see that either way he seems to be taking care of himself academically. Last edited by OSUBuckeye4Life; 06-19-2008 at 06:21 AM. |

how would you guys feel about this scenario? I'd like to preface it with the fact the nearly everyone i have told it does not think it would be as sweet as i do.
what if he transfers to michigan? i know it's almost certainly not going to happen but it seems like it might be a good fit. i guess it's not even quit as good of a fit as it would have been when pryor first chose ohio state but i still think it could play out with some great scenarios and would reinforce the awesomeness of the rivalry. imagine it; hotly contested recruit chooses ohio state, michigan player transfers to ohio state due scUM's new coach, ohio state backup quarterback transfers to michigan because of the recruit where his talents will be more utilized and plays against former team. it's like the script of a movie. |

The somewhat substantiated rumors say he will go to Georgia Southern, a non D1A school. His HS coach is there now, and he'll play next year. I would think he would try to transfer back to D1A for 2009, he would have two years of eligibility. UM did pop into my mind. He would be perfect for DickRod's system, if he were a worse passer. But I think he stays in the south.

But of luck to the guy. He hit a couple of rocks in the path on his journey, and I hope he can get back on his feet and get where he wants to be.

Too bad. Until Pryor signed I was really looking forward to Henton making a name for himself the way Troy Smith did. If Pryor doesn't pan out for one reason or another, I'm really gonna regret losing Henton. Maybe a fresh start is what you need. Georgia Southern, or wherever you go, is getting one helluva QB and an instant upgrade to their offense. Good luck kid.

Hell, if hes going to Georgia Southern I might go down there and support him...
I think he would of been good but unfortunately I don't think he'll be able to play in the situation.... same goes to Mo' Wells... |

His High School coach is now at Georgia Southern, which I'm sure helped his decision. I wish him well. He was the Georgia Offensive Player of The Year his senior year, so the boy has talent.
