I agree. Hopefully Beanie will be able to get his various injuries fixed in the offseason, and leave them in his sophomore year to stay... |

1. Chris Wells, Ohio State--The clear front runner right now after showcasing his skills to the tune of 146 yards and a 65-yard touchdown against LSU that came while everyone in the country was still watching. He's got speed, power and a stiff arm befitting a Heisman winner. He's an elite junior running back, a prime NFL prospect, coming off a 1,600-yard season, who plays for a traditional power that will be gunning for a national title in 2008. He'll get a chance to launch his campaign early with a marquee matchup in the Coliseum against USC and big games against Illinois and Michigan to close it out. In short, he's set up perfectly for a run at the Heisman. Any questions? Entire article: http://heismanpundit.com/item/1669 |

Ooh, a reverse Keith Byars. |

I was thinking about how Beanie compares with big Keith earlier today. Keith was unbelievably shifty for a big man. He had a spin move that embarrassed just about every defender in the big 10 at one point or another.
Beanie on the other hand makes moves that are very efficient - he'll make a guy miss using the minimum of time and lateral space. He could make you miss in a phone booth (but he'd probably just run you over or stiff-arm you into the hospital instead). If Beanie works a move or two of Keith's into his repertoire... Let's just say that if he busts a spin move on somebody next year it'll make me very happy (and the defender very sad). |

For Beanie, the stiff arm is his stock in trade. Unlike some Heisman winner's, Beanie isn't a poser. That Heisman will represent more than a pose. It will be a symbol of how he played the game. With that thought in mind, they should cast his of Titanium rather than Bronze. |

Well, after this season, I think it's safe to say the hype was justified.

Yes, maybe he remembers a certain foot getting stepped on last year after a TD run. Robo and Brandon Saine also just hand over the ball after the score. JT has conveyed the message. Although, the celebrations are fun to watch.

Either way, yeah, just don't jump on your teammates. It's bad for the health. |
