I wonder if he even noticed that Beanie didn't miss a game last season while playing through two injuries.

He didn't have Beanie in the first round of his first 2009 Mock Draft, having Knowshon Moreno and McCoy of Pitt in the first round. This was the only initial mock draft I ever saw without having Beanie in the first 15 picks.

I believe McGay missed like 95 out of the first 100 picks (as far as team and player) in the 2008 draft.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) ? Ohio State tailback Chris "Beanie" Wells did not practice with the second-ranked Buckeyes on Monday. Wells, who injured his right foot in Saturday's 43-0 victory over Youngstown State, continued to wear a protective boot on his right foot.
He fell to the turf on a carry at the Penguins 2-yard line in the third quarter. After lying on the field in pain, he was helped off and then carted to the locker room. He returned to the bench to watch the final few minutes before cautiously walking back to the locker room.
X-rays after the game did not show any broken bones.
"He has been diligent in taking as many treatments as possible from our athletic trainers the past two days," Ohio State football information director Shelly Poe said in an e-mail late Monday afternoon. "Other than that, (there is) nothing definitive to report on his diagnosis or prognosis timeline."
The Buckeyes play Ohio on Saturday, then travel to No. 3 Southern California in two weeks.

Beanie Wells' right foot remained in a protective boot and he did not practice today, according to an Ohio State spokesperson who said no other update on Wells' condition would be available until Tuesday. Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel holds his regular weekly news conference at noon on Tuesday and will have to answer questions then about the diagnosis and prognosis for his No. 1 running back.
"(Wells) has been diligent in taking as many treatments as possible from our athletic trainers the past two days," OSU spokesperson Shelly Poe wrote in an e-mail to reporters.
Poe did confirm that Wells also has had an MRI, but she wasn't sure about how conclusive the results of that exam were at this point.
Wells suffered his injury on a third-quarter carry against Youngstown State on Saturday. The prevailing wisdom is that he'll sit out Saturday's game against Ohio University, but the questions that matter center on his availability and expected productivity for OSU's cross-country showdown at USC on Sept. 13.
The only definitive medical news released by Ohio State now more than 48 hours since the end of Saturday's game is that X-rays on Wells' foot were negative. Wells gave a statement through Poe on Saturday that he heard something pop in his foot, and teammates have said that the problem is with Wells' right big toe and they expect him to return in the near future.
