That sounds good, unfortunately I won't have 100% peace of mind until I can see it for myself. It's hard to get that image of him going down out of my mind and think he's 100% after two weeks. The thing I worry about most is it getting reaggrivated easily and this being an ongoing thing every week. But we all know Beanie's a warrior and if it's humanly possible to go out there then he'll be out there.
Maualuga has a hurt finger and Cushing has a hurt wrist and hip so Beanie needs to punish them on every tackle and hopefully wear them down in the 4th quarter.

So do any insiders have any info they'd like to share as to how many carries they think Wells will be able to have come gameday? I'm just getting a little nervous hearing some news from others saying he won't be able to get many more than 10.

Not an insider... but you can bet your last dollar he will get somewhere between 10 and 45 carries . Beyond that, like JT says, tune in! No one knows, games are way too fluid.

By no means am I an insider, but I've got a hunch that Beanie is going to see somewhere between 20 and 30 carries on Sat. They are baiting the media a bit with his injury.........

Well a 75% beanie is better than no beanie at all so I guess I'll take it. I think with the hype of the game his adrenaline will be going, especially early in the game. Late in the game could be a different story though.

Tressel and his media being bland and vanilla to the media? No way!

As stated many time so far, Tress played it smart and resisted the urge to shut everyone up when he kept Beanie out of the Ohio U game. From the pics I have seen of Beanie jumping up and down on the sidelines, I trust he will be just fine. I see this kid popping some "ranger candy" (Ibuprofen 800mg) and going out on that field and not coming off without a stretcher under him. We talked about Smith and how he was a "gamer" - Beanie is in the same mold - "WHATEVER IT TAKES COACH!"

Ohio State has recently dominated the Big Ten, beaten 11 of the last 13 ranked teams it has played, and reached the BCS championship game in 2007 and '08.
But after losing badly to SEC powers Florida and LSU in those national title games, the Buckeyes are fighting for respect from voters in the Associated Press and coaches polls, especially after they struggled to defeat Ohio University, 26-14, in Columbus on Saturday.
Ohio State (2-0), which dropped from second to fifth in the rankings, will be tested on a much larger scale Saturday night when it plays top-ranked USC (1-0) at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Jim Tressel's offense has yet to hit its stride. The coach seems reluctant to play highly touted freshman quarterback Terrelle Pryor. There is no doubt the Buckeyes' attack will go only as far as tailback Chris (Beanie) Wells takes it against the best defense Pete Carroll has had since USC's 2005 national championship team.
Wells, who has drawn comparisons to Jim Brown, is the best big back in the country and, when healthy, is a Heisman Trophy candidate. Wells injured a toe in the second half of the Buckeyes' season-opening rout of Youngstown on Sept. 1 and did not participate in a full practice until Wednesday.
Tressel, who held Wells out of last week's unimpressive victory, says his star will definitely play against the Trojans. He claims Wells told offensive coordinator Jim Bollman that he wants to carry the ball 45 times.
